Felix arrived perhaps slightly less-than-promptly at Alcuin's flat for their scheduled date to have dinner and peruse Alcuin's library. He had told Shannon simply that he was going out that evening, and had suggested one of Shannon's other friends -- with whom Felix did not get along well -- phone him for amusement that same night. That left Felix quite free to enjoy this time alone with his sweet friend.

He dressed very casually, but even his denim jeans were washed in a dark sand color and imprinted with faint swirling designs, and his shirt with the sleeves rolled up was beautifully patterned in emerald and rust. Felix simply did not do casual very well.

Ready with a smile when Alcuin answered his knock, Felix proffered a bottle of wine he'd procured on the recommendation of a sommelier who supplied Cabal soirees. "Good evening, darling. I know I'm late; you'll forgive me, won't you?"

"Mmm," Felix breathed a faint laugh, all too ready to ignore the deliberate shift of Alcuin's fingers if he would. "You were beautifully obedient. If I hadn't had to hold you, it wouldn't have been much fun."

A stroking hand over Alcuin's bottom traced the marks his hands had left, soothing. Felix bent his head and whispered, "But if you're concerned, I could tie you for round two."

Round two. Alcuin shivered.

"It wouldn't ruin the fun for you?" he murmured.

"You might still struggle," Felix promised, his fingertips tracing the shape of Alcuin's bare body in his arms, "if you like. Binding you allows me to focus on pleasuring you, no matter how much I might enjoy controlling you with my hands alone."

Alcuin's breath caught a little. "Well when you put it like that I can... hardly refuse you, can I?"

Felix caught Alcuin's chin and tipped his face up just slightly, to look into his eyes. "You may always refuse me, and I will always respect it. But I will always do my very best to want to say Yes."

"I want to say yes," Alcuin assured him breathlessly, eyes still bright with desire.

Felix savored that moment, drinking in the breathless edge of Alcuin's desire. He stroked Alcuin's cheek, and then rose up over him, turning Alcuin gently onto his back and claiming his mouth in kisses once more. Now he could take his time, tempt and tease and pleasure, for as long as the both of them could bear it. Now he could be as gentle and slow as he had been hard and rough before.

Alcuin gasped a deep breath and then kissed Felix back, sliding hands back into his hair again and making a soft, happy sound into his mouth.

Once they both were left breathless, skin warmed and hearts thrumming once again, Felix lifted his head to smile down at Alcuin. "You won't hold back, will you? I like hearing you. I like the way your voice catches when you want me."
